All s::can G-Serie probes operate using the same measuring principle: spectrometry. The spectrophotometers measures directly in liquid media over a optical spectrum of 200 to 750 nm. De measurement uses a lightsource which is transmitted to a liquid medium, the spectrum of the remaining light intensity is measured by the light detector and compared to the reference spectrum. Based on the absorption of the parameter specific wavelength this results in the correct concentration of the parameter.
G-Series probes have price advantage over the spectro:: lyser probe, this against the spectro::lyser probe with the following benefits:
Carbo::lyser:
Carbo::lyser II: (TSS or turbidity) & 1 organic parameter
Carbo::lyser III: (TSS or turbidity) &
Organic parameter: BOD, COD, TOC, DOC, UV254
Ideal for surface water, ground water, drinking water and waste water
Multi::lyser
Multi::lyser II: NO3-N & 1 organic parameter
Multi::lyser III: NO3-N & (TSS or turbidity) & 1 organic parameter
Organic parameter: BOD, COD, TOC, DOC, UV254
Ideal for surface water, ground water, drinking water and waste water
Nitro::lyser
Nitro::lyser II: NO3-N & (TSS of turbidity)
Ideal for surface water, ground water, drinking water and waste water
UV::lyser
UV::lyser II: UV254 & (TSS or turbidity)
Ideal for surface water, ground water, drinking water and waste water
Color::lyser
Color::lyser II: Color & turbidity
Ideal for drinking water
Ozo::lyser
Ozo::lyser II: Ozone & TSS
Ideal for drinking water
